I've railed against Dispensationalists before, in particular evangelicals, and here we have the confessions of one who was one, but has now seen the light.

Read that and really understand how deep Jews have gotten their hooks into those people. Sadly, there is no saving most of them, they are just too far gone. Thankfully, their power is waning, because, being mostly boomers, they are rapidly dying off.
A friend of mine has a social media PFP of Tehran as a pike of rubble with a giant lion wrapped in the flag of israel standing over it.
He is an ardent Christian too.
Ask him what he thinks about Israeli settlers burning down that Christian village in the West Bank.
I approve a Jewish nation for Jews. That doesn't mean I approve everything Jews do.
With a non-answer like that it would be very easy to push him into a corner.
Burning that Christian village wasn't something that Jews do. It was something that Israel did and approved of. Israel has a long history of approving and supporting discrimination of Christians. And if you approve of Israel you approve of that Israel does.
I mean I know it's a futile endeavor because Christian Zionists get off on being literal slaves of Israelis.
No that's literally what I was saying isn't the case.
What you were saying was a cop out. You weren't even outright saying that you approve of Israel as a nation.
If you approve of Israel as a nation you approve of what Israel stands for since it's very inception. What has happened to the Christian village in the West Bank is what Israel stands for. Total Jewish supremacy and the ethnic cleansing, displacement and discrimination of all non-Jews.
Wrong.
I can approve a jewish nation in their current land, and any land acquired in future through legal purchase or war, without approving of state terrorism.
Oct 7 happens and israel goes to war with hamas, takes a bunch of land: acceptable.
Jews fire bomb a christian town because they want to: not acceptable.
Because they want the land. How is this different to a war of conquest? You can't approve of one thing and disapprove of the other.
I had trouble taking him seriously when he started blaming the KJV of the Bible for being a big part of Christian Zionism. Maybe it was too poetic for him and he likes the ESV better, but it is not a "Rah Rah! Hurray for Jews!" translation. If anything it condemns Israelites, Jews, and Gentiles who see the truth of God and reject it. It uplifts those who try to follow and repent their sins, even if they fail.
I can't see any translation holding a different viewpoint unless it was completely butchered from the original text on purpose. Perhaps I misread what he said? Was he saying that many churches that used that translation were hardest hit with ideological attacks, and therefore fell into false doctrine?
I personally prefer the NKJ myself, and like you, don't know where his antipathy comes from
