No, they don't have a point just because some people go overboard in their reaction. Or maybe they're just trolls. There's been people here telling others not to vote Republicans (glowies IMO) since the very beginning.
Trump attracted a lot of Sanders/Tulsi/RFK types for whom anti-war is not just another political position, but a fundamental principle, like a lot of people can't vote for a candidate who is pro-abortion or anti-abortion.
Furthermore, I'm not justifying it, but if there is no point at which the Republicans can lose people's votes, things are just going to get progressively worse. But if you have to vote against the Republicans, such people should be voting for third party candidates, not Democrats, because the message there can be easily misconstrued.
