When did Qatar suddenly become this big thing? It's a country I barely heard about not too long ago and now it's deja vu of the Russian bots/agents hysteria of yesteryear.
Started as a joke replacing Israel with Qatar (those damn Qatari communists/feminists/politicians, also had AQPAC) then got picked up by people who are desperate to stop the great noticing.
You get flak when you're over the target. People have been arriving at the conclusion that Israel is maybe not our bestest buddy in the whole world after all.
We've had bases in Qatar for literally decades. I have a couple of buddies that took some mortar fire back in the day while we were all on deployment.
Cant wait for these countries to run out of oil and become sand shitholes again.
