I never backed Al qaeda, but don't let reality get in the way of your narrative. You're too busy on the shortbus with your new friends.
Did you not cheer the bombing of Syria when Assad was in charge and Al Qaeda was the opposition? Did you not persist even when this was pointed out to you?
Assad was a brutal dictator who deserved to get offed.
