this is still ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVIL
Devil's advocate (lol): Trump has, both in the prior term and this one with the Houthis, killed many groups of people working against American interests. Almost every president has. Assuming it was just taking out nuclear sites and not indiscriminate bombing of cities, what makes this time different?
I feel betrayed... Trump fucked up... this is a FUCKING BIG ONE
MAGA is a big tent with this issue having become a massive chasm in the middle. The people on the other side feel just as strongly about it as you do. If he did what you want he would be betraying them. Both sides are his "base", why should he listen to us over them?
I'll admit most of the pro-war types are elite donors, neocon influencers, and Israel First evangelicals, but if you talk to people there are plenty of American Joes who just want to grill AND bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.🎵
This was evil... Iran was not week away from The Bomb. But, even if they were, we could have waited a bit more
Would waiting have made it less evil?
I didn't want us joining Israel's campaign. I personally don't care if Iran gets the bomb and don't think they would actually be a danger to us. Now you can call the other side zionist boomers brainwashed by Faux News or whatever, but A MEGATON of Trump voters do believe that and think it's important for us to stop any "rogue state" from getting nukes no matter the cost. You may not like it but from a Realpolitik perspective I'm not sure he's wrong. Is it even going back on his campaign promises? He did say he would not to get us involved in new wars, but he never said he would give up America's position as the supreme world military power. He's always been on the "unipolar world" side.

Total fantasy. I've never met a single normie that has given a shit about the middle east after the bush era 9/11 propaganda wore off. I have overheard the phrase "both sides are terrorists" when some news channel is on in a public space multiple times.
If you're gonna quote me, at least tag me. (And, yeah, I'm going to assume an honest mistake here, no hate.)
Trump has...killed many groups of people working against American interests. Almost every president has....what makes this time different?
I mean. A bunch of the past presidents are evil fucking bastards. Even tonight, I still like Trump more than them.
But what makes it different? I don't know...for me, avoidability. We didn't have to do this. Nothing has changed, recently. You can like Iran, you can hate Iran. They didn't do anything to us. This started because Israel bombed them.
The people on the other side feel just as strongly about it as you do.
Now, maybe I'm being unreasonable here, I allow that. I'm emotional at the moment, I think this is Evil and absolutely sucks. There's plenty I'm willing to see 'both sides' on. I'll talk to leftists. I'll talk to right-wingers I disagree with. But I view this as an extremely unnecessary aggressive action, and I think I'm completely in the right on this. I don't usually try to put myself in that position, because I don't think it usually fits, but here I'm willing to do so. If others have arguments, I'm willing to listen, but until convinced otherwise...I'm fucking right on this.
I don't have many hills to die on, but this is one. Again, for better or worse. Feel free (anyone) to counter me on this. That's not an attack against you, Agenda47, it really is an open letter. If I'm wrong, lay it out. I'm just putting down my thoughts.
If he did what you want he would be betraying them.
But there is a Truth. If I am indeed correct on this, he should side with me, or with the force I'm sided with. Some Trump supporters want another Middle East war...is Trump really betraying anyone if he doesn't give it to them?!
Both sides are his "base", why should he listen to us over them?
Complicated question, and I do agree he ran, to some extent, on both sides. He did say Islamic terror was a threat, he did say Iran couldn't have The Bomb. He also said no more forever wars, and that the retards who previously engaged in such thing should pick up the fucking phone.
Am I completely opposed to bombing Iran. Honestly - and I always am - almost. But not entirely. I can see a reason to bomb Iran. But, again, nothing has really changed, aside from Israel's sneak attack. We should have absolutely exhausted all other options first. Then bomb Iran, if it's necessary.
Yeah I don't know what happened there but that was indeed meant to be under your comment. Glad you saw the reply. I can't really rebut anything you said on a personal and moral level. I was only speaking to any possible political ramifications and whether this is a particularly notable betrayal of MAGA. Honestly this is pretty much par for the course for the American Imperium. I'm disappointed, but I hope Commandant Trumo has an exit plan and Iran doesn't retaliate too hard. Their leadership seems kind of retarded (or party to the zionist agenda) so I'm not optimistic.
