I think people seriously underestimated how covid fearmongering devastated liberals brains, especially young women. The charts we see on female liberals mental illness rates started skyrocketing during the COVID years. The fearmongering panic was always there, but it was visible fear, definable fear, having an invisible fear that could kill you at any second (not saying it’s true, just what they believe) sent leftists into totalitarian insanity and doing anything the stasi state said from double masking to reporting people for going outside. That fear left all the sane people, but Covid created a religious zealotry where masks are magical wards, and the devil is just around the corner waiting to drag you to hell at any given moment.
Some of the people I game with were in highschool during the lokdowns and there is a big difference between the women and men.
Back-then-teenage males took it as a free vacation with fake exams they could basically not be failed on. Didn't care much about missed ceremonies. Could be a gamers sampling bias.
Sampling of one teenage girl now grown gamer, suffered alot more anxiety but again gamer bias, it wasen't so bad. The average teenage girl glued on social media were alot more vulnerable than guys to psychological damage from lockdowns.
I recall one of those study on ''privilege and success'' found attractive males didn't suffer much from remote school while the grades of pretty females suffered alot.
On this forum we probably all know why. Pretty girls are treated better, to the point of giving them higher scores in school due to teachers bias. Pretty guys get advantages in life, but little unearned grades in school, so their higher grades are alomst entirely due to better genetics not just making you more attractive and fit, but smarter than average.
Those lockdowns probably widened the rift growing between young men going more right-wing and young women going batshit crazy far-left.
