Perhaps officially localized to be trans? They tried that with "I turned my childhood friend into a girl" which was also about cross dressing and a bit of the gay. But apparently (who would have thought) trans trumps all.
Yeah, I remember that drama.
Would be kinda hard to do it with this one though (I read it, it's alright, definitely shoujo though). Not that I wouldn't put it past them to try.
The real reason it's featured there, is probably because they count gender non conformity in their stupid queer umbrella or whatever it's called. I was just being snarky with my previous comment.
