The last few months should have taught you that when it comes to judges the rule is:
I am god here and you will do whatever I say, because if you argue with me I will ruin you in some other manner.
Don't ask questions, just accept they are impartial and the arm of justice. And that decades of Judge Judy and others on tv screaming at people and changing sentences for slightly upsetting them is just for tv and totally not how it works everyday.
I don't understand how a judge can vacate a sentence but not overturn the verdict? Isn't it the same jury that decides guilt and sentencing?
