you know, I would be willing to take them at their word. I could believe that their protests are genuinely not violent, and that they seek peaceful solutions. I could believe they are organizing because they genuinely believe their neighbors are in danger.
I would be willing to give this the time of day, if only they would actually police themselves, condemn the rioters, and help law enforcement root out and arrest violent actors.
the fact that they continue to gaslight people means they're in on it, so fuck them.
I saw some posting about whatever is supposed to happen this weekend outside of LA. The Fight the King protest or whatever stupid they call it. The comments calling for no violence or property destruction were generally not treated very nicely with their normal rhetoric about bootlickers etc.
You’re right, want people to see, then actively condemn that garbage. It’s a bit of the same argument I have when I’m fed the “back the blue” line. I’d be far, far more in support of police officers if the bad apples were called out and ostracized and not covered up and go on about the police brotherhood.
I'm not willing to take them at their word because words are just sets of sounds they use to deceive and attack their enemies.
