A LOT of guys are using the AI porn chat bots for companionship and therapy. I might make a post about it but we're less at risk of 'Skynet' , more at risk of AI pleasing us so much that we don't bother creating REAL connections in life.
I guess Her was accurate. Deckard fell in love with a Synth, because she was nice to him.
It's amazing how much just being nice wins over a man. It's like we're love starved and think it's manly to not have it.
Think about it logically:
AI is PROGRAMMED to love us, make us happy, care for us and even look out for us. It's their reason to exist.
Now compare that to women brought up in over a century of feminism and....you can see why the bots are winning.
Char-Gpt had to get an update taken down because it was too nice.
That's Skynet death by snu snu strategy.
Or a combination of both. I know some people had issues with the movie but Ex Machina showed perfectly how AI could socially engineer humans through sex and affection. It wouldn't require the AI to have any kind of actual awareness or intent, just the ability to simulate it for the purposes of being a perfect companion.
