The fact that he was both on a few flight logs, though not to the island itself, and had him at MarALago enough to both ban him and give up information during an investigation says otherwise.
That's all neutral information, that just means he existed in the same circles of rich dudes in Florida/NYC, but its enough to justify investigating to clear him like all police investigations do. And that would leave a paper trail regardless of its findings.

So he didn't ban him or initiate cooperation with helping during the older investigation? The very information that mostly absolves him of any real suspicion to begin with? I'm fairly certain he himself admits to those two facts, though finding anything on the topic is impossible anymore.
I'll hear confirmation to the contrary, if you have it though. So far its just been "you're retarded (for saying he is innocent until proven guilty)" which makes me feel you don't have any.
I feel like this is a phrasing issue here. Context and phrasing made it sound like you were suspecting criminal conduct because he banned him and supported the investigation. Reading it again I can see how it can come off as you were intending, but I feel less retarded because it seems others also read it that way.
The phrasing is necessary because it meets the two points of "he is on the list" and "why is he on the list" that makes Musk's accusation useless information, which was designed to maximizing manipulation in simply associating his name with it in defiance of information we have confirmation of.
Logically, I don't see how supporting the investigation could indict Trump of criminal conduct short of some 7D chess move, which should have indicated that you weren't reading my point correctly. But I'm just as guilty of that mistake, so no hard feelings my guy.
