...that would be consistent with Elon's statement if he's in the files, but in a good way. Elon is a big fan of careful choosing words to mislead - his whole empire is based on it.
This is a politically naive take. Leaking any specific, scandalizing details from the Epstein files would have done 100x more to legitmize the vast trove of blackmail material and its provenance than it would've done harm to any singular target. Keeping that secret was worth more[.]
My inclination is that this depends so much on the number and height of elites involved in the story. Would it be worth taking a handful of scalps if it potentially destroys your whole party, for example?
What's the point of having blackmail if you're not gonna extort people with it? I fail to see why they couldn't leak Trump-Specific... improprieties in a targeted attack. The fact that they haven't, despite throwing the kitchen sink at him leaves a pretty big negative space impression.
