I admit I'm totally clueless as to what's in it because my instinct is that Elon is right and its full of garbage but who knows. There are a few right- wing people on X attacking Elon over it, but it could just be from not liking the guy or just generic GOP bootlicking. Thoughts?

It’s GOP bootlicking because Trump supports it. The thing is a massive pork package and is that way because the GOP took their turns hamfisting in shit so they would vote for it. It does have some positives like at least attempting to eliminate illegals usage of welfare, but then makes it easier for H-1Bs and legal migrants to qualify. Makes a bunch of regulation cuts, and has tech bro packages also inserted. It also has an insane clause that will allow liberals states to tax the shit out of their residents and then the federal government gives them a tax credit on federal taxes because blue states raped them with taxes (betting this was 10000% tech bros doing). It’s frankly about 2/3s “business as usual” government bloat and 1/3 actual MAGA that people voted for.
Trump attacked this very thing in his first term. Now that these big tech faggots cozied up to him and the GOP, he's doing the opposite.
