A Metroid movie in the style of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal (a show with next to no dialogue) would actually be really cool. The problem is they would absolutely never do something like that because the average viewer's brain is addled with ADD and needs dialogue to remain interested in watching something.
It would also fail because they would need to remind you that Samus is a girl every 2 minutes, meaning the entire movie would be built around contrived reasons for her to remove her suit over and over or pull the Other M route of "need to talk about my feelings, my baby, and my unresolved daddy issues towards my commander."
