Were this any other book series I would see it failing midway just like WoT has, but because it's Harry Potter I can see the corpse of the show crawling all the way to the end of the last book and maybe even shambling even further to the retarded play that was also adapted despite being actual fanfic garbage.
Still annoyed at how they massacred Sopranos. Didnt even try to keep to the lore and spent half the movie following around a black gangster and his "totally not BLM riots" adventures
Many sons of Newark was a major disappointment. Made no sense for that black dude to be in it. If he had been in sopranos that would be different but I was expecting the rise of Tony Soprano. Boy was I wrong
They sold it as a Tony or Dickie Moltisanti story in the previews with Harold making maybe a five second spot in the ads. Total subversion and felt more like a BLM movie with a cheap Sopranos knockoff story grafted onto it.
To think years ago I would watch any hbo show for simply being an hbo show and having a reputation for quality tv. Had the same mindset with the BBC at one point as well
No surprise. I guess they decided to do a Wheel of Time style adaptation

True. There are a lot of normies
It's HB(lack)O.
They live to worship Fentanyl Floyd.

Never seen the movie. Have seen the entire series, though. It was poorly received I see and the whole BLM thing doesn't surprise me one bit.
Loved the series and couldn't wait to see the movie. Felt extremely disappointed and by the middle of it I was skipping all the black gangster scenes.
