Instead of calling government produced 'news segments' what the people who had restricted them to overseas in the first place knew them to be, propaganda.
That's not what nitpicking means though. You were correcting my usage of the term of the "news" which is fair enough. I only referred to it that way for simplicity sake.
But to say I'm nitpicking without explaining clearly implies you're referring to my main point, which was that Obama didn't "make it legal for the media to lie."
Nitpick, it legalized the government broadcasting propaganda inside the US.
It isn't a nitpick.
That makes it sound like it used to be illegal for CNN to lie. That's not true and pointing that out isn't a nitpick.
