The welfare of the United States, not each individual citizen.
I want the best for everyone, but they actually have to work for it. They don't get other people's shit, stolen at gunpoint.
Trying to "help" everyone just makes the already extremely overburdensome tax system even worse than it already is and, yes, into a dictatorship.
"Common defense and general welfare" means throwing out the invaders.
Imagine if liberals were as generous reading the second amendment as they are article 1 section 8
Or the 1st Amendment.
They're already plenty generous with the 14th Amendment, so they have that covered.
Frankly, general welfare should be removed from the constitution.
It was always a trap and Hamilton was a traitor.
