Its someone saying "you aren't asexual/gay, you just need the right dick/vag to fix you" and then forcing it on them to prove it. Its rarely actual rape, and usually just someone really fucking pushy against a spineless loser (like most asexuals are).
Its probably one of the few things that does happen to them though that isn't completely made up, because I've known plenty of girls try to "fix" hot gay guys and were ready to pour drinks into them to do it.
But much like "sex trafficking" they've also taken to jumping at every shadow possible thinking someone is trying to do it to them because they held a door open.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if "Asexuality" was tied to sexual abuse and sexual assault. Yes, we see a lot of victim-abusers who basically normalize the sexual abuse done to them, but if the victim were to understand that what was done to them was wrong, it could very well kill their sex drive. Suddenly, removing every possible aspect of your sexuality from your mind becomes a good idea as a coping mechanism to an assault.
Additionally, if they abused themselves with porn it may screw-up their sexual attraction so badly they might not feel attracted to things that aren't porn.
Either way, I think Asexuality is actually a coping mechanism to a more serious trauma or confusion.

It is, and literally everyone can see it. That's why people even get the idea of "fixing" in the first place.
It’s all clusters.
