They're already targeting Archive for copyright (it's a claim that technically has merit). If the Internet goes that way:
First, your Archive links will literally all be gone.
Second, you're going to have no way to share it with anyone.
And third, as much as it sucks to hear, it doesn't make a single difference what you have and never will. I've seen gun owning conservatives lurch from tyrannical overreach to tyrannical overreach and never once did they do shit so what good does some storage of obsolete articles matter to anyone? Half the trash people here archive is retarded meme tweets which nobody needs to save.
And really at any rate, archive it for yourself.

Archive is trash. The websites are frequently broken and barely readable. Links don't work. Media often gets lost because they're delivered through a CDN that doesn't get archived with the rest of the page.
And worst of all it obfuscates what you're sending me to. I don't want to have to click an archive link to read an "article" on a website called 911PATRIOTTRUEHEALTHNEWS.biz.

The metric is probably "it says things I agree with". That doesn't mean it's true. It's like the "6,000,000/number of ovens*hours" calculation. Archives existed before archive websites. I've basically "saved" numerous webpages I liked locally. You can also print them (physically, on paper). I have loads of software like CS5 before everything became subscription only so that heaven forbid I can still have certain tools if the web goes down or adobe goes under.
And even little apps like resizers, file converters, drivers, all come in handy.
I also don't get the vitriol. No one here attacked you, but you are going on a tear.
