According to the comments, the breaking point was her husband insisting their daughter undergo female circumcision. So basically this chick did absolutely no research into any tribal customs, but felt entitled to jump in with both feet.
She would have not objected at all if it was her boy getting bits of his genitals chopped.
That is her claim, a good way to justify child abduction, but she cant proof her claim.
