This spinoff was actually explicitly because halfKiA was locking things down too much and only allowing discussion on gaming and entertainment. So KiA2 is explicitly not a gaming forum, and is closer to a culture war forum. Since we did spin off from KiA, there's still a focus on vidya, and most people here have some passion for games/movies/what have you, but it was always coming at it from a broader political angle.
