Yeah.. seen some gruesome stuff. Saw a dude got a shell dropped onto him by a drone. After the explosion you see his abdomen/torso opened up and organs pulsating and releasing steam in full HD. Some sick shit.
Also makes it super dehumanizing. Its frightening.
it makes it personal and impersonal at the same time. at least with missiles or bombs, the pilot or weapons officer just presses a button and it sends it off to a target. the person that pressed the button doesnt really see the people he is about to obliterate usually.
with drones, you have drone operators seeing the people and piloting an explosive into people from far away. good thing cave dwellers in afhganistan didnt have access or smarts to use drones.
An infinite war that costs relatively little lives and requires an endless supply of manufactured weapons? Let's see what Pelosi has been investing in...

I know one guy who ever since the rus-ukr war started will hear about any natural disaster anywhere in the world and immediately start to ponder if the Russians did it. Unironically and without fail. Some people are apparently absolute suckers for some war propaganda
It's why the UK and the US have built anti drone swarm defenses using microwaves.
This IS a huge risk in places that don't have the R&D and resources to create a counter as drones are actually fairly cheap while lives...well depends on the one giving orders as they could be cheaper..
