it makes it personal and impersonal at the same time. at least with missiles or bombs, the pilot or weapons officer just presses a button and it sends it off to a target. the person that pressed the button doesnt really see the people he is about to obliterate usually.

with drones, you have drone operators seeing the people and piloting an explosive into people from far away. good thing cave dwellers in afhganistan didnt have access or smarts to use drones.
