• Establishment incentive through welfare of single mothers.
It's mostly this. Follow the money. In fact, welfare + child support from multiple baby daddies can result in a woman having more money than if she married your average Joe. So yeah, child support is responsible for this shit too.
Ultimately, turning off the money hose would go a very long ways towards fixing this. But I think feminism is still the driving factor here. If you “empower” women to spend their entire fertility window chasing bullshit degrees and fucking every Chad they meet, then your birthrate is invariably going to collapse. There’s no getting around it, and there’s probably no putting this genie back in the bottle either.
I'm of a mixed mind on this, but I tend to agree, the money hose definitely needs to be cut down drastically here. Especially when factoring in how much easier it is today for a woman to maintain some kind of income from the comfort of her own home.
It's not like it was decades ago when a woman might've been forced to drag her pre-K rugrat(s) to work because she didn't have anyone to watch/take care of them.
Yep. Society needs to change drastically so that, it is more beneficial for women to have children with only one man in a relationship instead of rewarding shitty behavior.
