If I took aerial footage of a prison, I'd be in jail.

I get that -- but there's more to it than just getting a drone in the air and taking some pictures.

Someone obviously communicated to the prisoners that the drone was there for a photo-op because that SOS didn't spontaneously happen. I want to know how that came to be.

I wonder that as well. I imagine Reuters arraigned it through a family member. Or even through a prisoner themselves.
