It's been a while but IIRC she consented in the same way I consent to taxes.

Worse than that. The Dothraki are savages. They make the Westerosi look like the fucking Federation. If she had told him "no," being dragged to death probably would have been the best outcome for her. There's a non-zero chance they would have given her the same fate as Mr. Hands.
This is probably one of the most accurate ways to explain the entire setup. Not to mention a lot easier on the brain.
It's not presented that way and she doesn't see it that way.
