'Most attractive' does not equal 'better', and there's no guarantee that the attractive properties would be preserved in the mulatto offspring anyway.
And all too often, unfortunately mixed-race people do turn out to be basketcases (at least in America and the collective West). I'm not sure why.
"Mulatto" is explicitly White + Black.
Perhaps, but there is a strong correlation between attractiveness, intelligence, and overall health.
If we used attractiveness alone as a heuristic we'd almost certainly do a better job of breeding people than any other metric.
