I finally managed to land a real job with real benefits, and this is my first foray into corporate America. In grad school the nonsense was largely limited to emails I could have a chuckle about and move on with my day. Is the corporate world any worse than this or are the virtue signaling retards just as easy to ignore?

Lately they've just stopped talking about it. No flyers, no email announcements, HR has been about eighty percent laid off, etc.
I'm sure it varies by location and industry though.
I assume Microsoft and Google are still full on Alphabet pandering and celebrating the removal of white men. Those with infinite money can afford the luxury of DIE
More like they're extremely committed to becoming outright Indian companies, but same difference.
I weep for the coming technological dark age.
That is what I'm thinkin, same with Amazon. The entire AWS is just indians, at one point can you consider it just an Indian company? Just move the HQ and change nothing else.
That's the trick I learned way too late. You want less DEI bloat, work for a smaller company. When I joined my current one it was 90% white men and women (mostly people that knew what they were doing). As we grew in success, the DEI tax must be paid and we've been pumping ourselves full of minorities left and right. I've shifted my priorities from what's best for the company to what's best for my career and spend more work hours studying for certs in preparation for a job hop.
