Andor Season 1 was a masterclass on documenting the rise of a resistance movement, and now Disney is going to throw it all away with a token anti Trump scene that totally breaks the audience out of disbelief.
Season 1 was typical DEI writing. The lead character is Hispanic, the blond evil lady villain has a side-story about a male imperial administrator falling short (female competent/male incompetent dynamic). Too many boss ladies to count. Two murderous lesbian rebels, interracial couple. Some ridiculous side-story about a hyper-advanced prison that got defeated by a leaky faucet. A boyfriend becoming jealous of his overly competent rebel girlfriend (and her relationship with her ex) and becoming a traitor (or something).
You should have seen the pattern enough times by now to know it always gets worse and more woke in season two. Nobody should be surprised by this anymore. Giving a new series on a streaming service a chance is just repeating the same action over and over, expecting a different result.
It's so crazy, I mean why did they wait so long?! The biggest critique to star wars episode 4 was that despite being a revolution no one attempted to rape anyone! Kek

Typical Disney. They cannot go broke soon enough.

It goes on and on.

100% spot-on. The insanity of people getting riled up over the Season 2 effect that streaming services incur is crazy to me.
I'm curious how many more times we'll have to see this play out before people get it?
