Likely. They desperately want to destroy Iran right now, although I don’t know the reason for the rush. Nuclear development maybe? I don’t understand why a country like Iran hasn’t been able to get its hands on some warheads that disappeared during the dissolution of the USSR.
Iran has been funneling money to Hamas, Hezbollah and all of the other organizations that Israel has gone scorched-earth trying to wipe out, and now they're faced with the prospect of their own financial support from the US actually being conditional and having strings attached for once. They probably see siccing the US military directly on Iran as the only way to get the total victory they want in their own backyard.

Iran gives them cover to do whatever they want. I do believe there are people that want to destroy Iran in Israel, but I also believe that there are those who take a more pragmatic approach.
