All this talk about "standards" has me just side splittingly amused.
Dave Smith has a standard: THE TRUTH
This is what all of the IDW except for maybe Brett Weinstein doesn't have. Brett, to give him credit, is calling out Douglas Murray for the implication of what "standards" in the podcasting sphere would look like, which is censorship.
I swear, I never want to hear another fucking word out of James Fucking Lindsey's mouth about anything, he has permanently burned any credibility he earned over calling out critical theory in academia with his Don Quixote style campaign against the "woke right."

I think its a good lesson for most people on the Right to learn that just because someone says something you agree with one day, doesn't make them your champion or even an ally.
This is especially true when it came to "calling out the woke" because that was not only smart business for many years now, but it was only a "foot in the door" that didn't tell you much about them. Its like with TERFs. They hate trannies the same as us all, but they only do so and call them out because they just hate men and believe in all the other same liberal progressive nonsense that isn't at odds with that first part.
So is the case with many on the Right who are now "calling out the woke" when its super easy to do so and also massively benefits multiple competing ideologies.

I'm disappointed in Dave Rubin, too. I know he's a contentious figure, and I hadn't watched him in years, but it's still sad to see him shill like this. He was always more on the neocon side of things, but seemed like a decent guy otherwise. He, like people like Ben Shapiro, served a useful purpose when the culture war was kicking off. Rubin is like Shapiro but nowhere near as obnoxious, and much more personable. Frustrating to see him keep picking the wrong side.
Yea, that's why we invented the Internet, so I can see what's actually going on half way across the world without having to rely on biased fuckwits like you.
"if [baddie] goes back to his apartment building and you know that there's women and children in that apartment building and so your move is to blow up the building ... you did it intentionally you dropped a bomb knowing that there were women and children in that building that is intentionally murdering innocent people"
This is like that riddle where the doctor can't operate on the kid because it's "my son", but how can that be - the father died in the car crash.
The truth is that women and younglings can also be bad (just ask Anakin).
edit: in case you guys didn't get it, this is disingenuous emotional manipulation from Smith; he doesn't believe only women and children can be innocents and could have just said a building full of innocent people, but he put that in there to turn your brain off. This is not honest, truthful debate either because there is a discussion to be had over whether or how innocent the broader population is (for instance Murray says 1/3 buildings have arms stockpiles or tunnels), but Smith has shut that down with emotional appeals. I'm not endorsing Murray's position, it's just to show that point of disagreement exists.

Influencers are always for sale.
Yeah, Lindsay is a fucktard.

In a way Lindsey has become the mythical Woke Right he bemoans. What a fag.
