Secondly, violent crime in western countries (apart from certain culturally enriched hotspots) is very, very low compared to any time at all a last century.
Women might fear rape, but mostly stranger rape is very rare.
You don't get out much, do you? Have you seen what women wear to clubs? Or the beach in Cancun?
I live in a port town. The last time a US Navy ship arrived here, sluts came out in force and fucked all of the US Sailors stupid. Many of the local population of young women dressed up in their shortest, sluttiest clothes and hunted down sailors to bang them silly; then go home and pretend that they were still good girls.
Then went back to wearing baggy, 'fuck off don't talk to me' cardboard clothes on Monday.
That is a polar opposite of the Japanese fashion scene.
