They could have always pretended Blade was never black in the first place until they "fixed" him. Just like they pretended the Blade movies never existed, all so they could claim Black Panther was the first ever black superhero movie.

yeah, but DC probably doesn't wanna talk about that too much...

personally, i thought the movie was fun, corny as all hell, but fun.
