Wait, I may be misremembering, but didn't Trump recently talk about reevaluating the Japanese constitution on the basis of military rearmament?
Longshot but maybe change a few things her and there to stop this while everyone is too focused on the Japanese getting superior firepower.

Im not saying Japan shouldn't increase their defence but it should be noted that both sides aren't fully trust worthy. Why isn't Trump advocating for Japan to get rid of article 14 in the constitution which is the most woke article that pushes "equality of sexes and race" for example?
