It's also why the entire western industry is acting like there will be a catastrophic end of civilization if even one AI creator is used for TV or Videogames.

When you think you have no true competition, you begin to consider yourself the one in charge instead of the consumer. Which means you can treat them as little paypigs for your own desires.

Look at the fed employees you've ever dealt with. They literally do not care about you or your life, because they know they have all the power over you and you will dance for them no matter how you are treated. Its why they throw such fits about Space X or private schools, it introduces competition into a market they considered "owned."

Its also why they are throwing every thing they can at Asian media to try and get it literally illegalized, because it means consumers can have choice and then choose not to dance and that's life ruining for them.

Same with AI, which should always be subpar compared to a real deal version because, memes aside, it lacks soul and we can all tell. But they've all made themselves so miserable to work with and unlikeable that people will take that little uncanny valley happily.
