Houthis have been striking cargo ships heading towards the us since 2024. They recently just announced they will hit any US ship crossing the red sea. What did you expect was going to happen with that provokation.

I don't know how the Houthis survived their first encounter with the Navy. Our missile stockpiles supposedly depleted and the war was extremely cost-effective for them as they were using drones, but I can't help but wonder if some kind of Biden and DEI malfeasance was happening.
