The bible was written in Lebanon. Christians and Muslims lived side by side for more than a thousand years.
Then, one day, the local Muslim population rose up and fucking murdered every Christian they could.

What is wrong? That the Bible was written in trade Greek in Lebanon? It depends what I meant by "written" I guess? It was a library of works and it was assembled into what is very close to the modern form in Lebanon. There it was translated into trade Greek and distributed along the important trade routs that run through Lebanon.
After the Roman Empire became Christian in the fourth century, well before the birth of Mohamed, Palestine was a center of Christian faith and scholarship. Palestine was Christian for hundreds of years before the aggressive expansion of Islamic forces killed them all or converted the locals at the point of a sword. Today there are no Christians left in Palestine or even Iraq. The Coptic Christians are routinely persecuted and killed whoever they are in the middle east.
Shia Muslim's lived in the south of Lebanon in a minority for hundreds of years in peace. Waves of immigrants from Palestine (1948, 1967) caused the Muslim population to approach parity with the Christian natives. The immigrants had strong links to the PLO and the Soviet Union. Palestinian insurgents took up fighting and the rest is history.
