Let's get this out of the way first. Reality TV is cringe, and the only thing more cringe is being on Reality TV by choice and not by blackmail or cruel and unusual punishment by court order or something.

Anyway, "I love you ... but I need someone on the same wavelength" translates to "I love you but social approval is my first priority."

Is it a big loss? Nah, better that it's out there instead of her secretly defying her husband.
