Who can argue against that without being called and ist and a phobe? Things have to get very bad before things turn around.
You reject it utterly:

A few years ago those HR people could get anyone fired by accusing them of being ist or phobe. Or at least had the illusion that they could do that.
They still do and did, but it's worth it to leave at this point, rather than to stay on the sinking ship.
