But if I have to hear one more "conservative" "influencer" talk about how important fucking women's sports is, I'll lose it.
That's one of my big problems with all this. The "Return to sanity/normalcy/tradition" is just returning to a world where Feminism is the top of the totem pole instead of the trannies.
I'm happy to provide for women's sports in schools and local places, even if its not equally providing money like men's does. Girls do deserve that chance to be active and part of something.
The problem is that we haven't unraveled that from all the feministy "they must also be given all the same funding, pay, and scholarships as the men whose performance actually pays those investments back."
Men and women are different.
We are. One is incomplete without the other even. Neither is truly superior because of that fact, even if tit for tat I think men bring more net benefits.
By 'them' do you mean trannies or TERFs.
The TERFs. If our goals or even paths ever align with theirs, I believe the chance of it being the wrong path is highly likely.
We need to deal with both.
And if we strength one to kill the other, then we cannot. And I personally think the tranny one is easily defeated no matter what if we try on a societal level (overall no one really has been, that's why it seems so powerful). Feminists are already incredibly powerful and will never be easily dismissed (because women must exist in large numbers), so we should absolutely be giving that more focus and effort even if it means letting the trannies have small victories (because they will still end up being powerless and weak).
I don't side with the TERFs. They're terrible. But I can be on the same side with them coincidentally on this issue.
And my point is the fact that you don't find even coincidentally aligning with them abhorrent and a serious sign of issue is that they are women, and all those little pro-women instincts we all have are still working their gay magic, because if any other group was as awful and damaging as they have been you'd be rightfully changing course.
This isn't meant to imply its a you specifically issue. Those instincts are in all of us and always effecting everything.
That's one of my big problems with all this. The "Return to sanity/normalcy/tradition" is just returning to a world where Feminism is the top of the totem pole instead of the trannies.
Speaking of women's sports, I've been incredibly critical of even "conservative" women, who don't claim to be TERFs, for the record. I can't stand Riley Gaines, for example. And, even worse, all the conservatives slobbering all over her. I've said so repeatedly, and often gotten flack for it.
So I don't think we're necessarily that far apart on these issues. I'm not a fan of TERFs. I just don't mind tackling that one issue. It's not about an alliance, it's just about dealing with the obvious and solvable problem in front of us. Dealing with the trans shit lets us bring back some normalcy, then we can tackle feminism more thoroughly. Culture is important. I don't view bringing back sanity as caving to feminism...because I think once we get the Sanity ball rolling, it will be easier to bring that moment to pushing feminism back too.
I don't want to team up with the TERFs. But I also don't care if they hate what I'm advocating for, or approve of it wholeheartedly. Not my problem.
The problem is that we haven't unraveled that from all the feministy "they must also be given all the same funding...
Oh, for sure. There's plenty of issues. But I don't think that involves throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I think this is solved on broader cultural issues, not by one specific thing like women's sports. Just look at how quickly DEI started falling, once the taste for that was there. People have been more critical of feminism over the last few decades. We don't need to stop the crusade against tranny insanity (and I know that's not what you're saying) to also crusade against feminist insanity. We can do both.
The TERFs. If our goals or even paths ever align with theirs, I believe the chance of it being the wrong path is highly likely.
Uh, I'm not so sure. There are plenty of issues, and plenty of groups, where we end up aligning on something, even if for all different reasons. Doesn't make the initial stance wrong. As long as we're not doing anything at the behest of the TERFs, I don't care if they like it or not.
And if we strength one to kill the other, then we cannot.
I just don't see it that way, at all. I could be wrong, but I think any pushback against progress insanity is good, and pushes the needle. A pushback against trannies is a pushback against feminism too, because it's the same disease.
And my point is the fact that you don't find even coincidentally aligning with them abhorrent and a serious sign of issue is that they are women, and all those little pro-women instincts we all have are still working their gay magic, because if any other group was as awful and damaging as they have been you'd be rightfully changing course.
Again, disagreed. I have common ground with plenty of people I don't agree with. I'm not going to change my stance, that I reached on my own, just because feminists, or Muslims, or Jews, or Russians, or whoever also like that thing. That's not a good way to check things. At least not absolutely. Sure, look at it and think, hmm, but it shouldn't be a hard and fast rule.
I don't view bringing back sanity as caving to feminism
This is where we are differing. What most people consider "sanity" right now was post-feminism for decades. The normalcy was feminist nonsense being the default, which is where all the Woke seeds at.
Dealing with the tranny menace now is just cutting the grass with a weedwacker across 10 acres. By the time you actually accomplish it, the seedbed you left has already regrown it in some amount.
People have been more critical of feminism over the last few decades
No, they've been more critical of Woke Feminism. They are still 80% accepting what feminists want, and then call out the final touches as too far. Women being allowed to vote, divorce, exist without shame for sluttery and degeneracy are all feminism's gains and basically nobody but guys like me (a small number) are campaigning against that.
The "return to normalcy" is still women being sluts divorce raping men on the reg while raising babies single, and then voting for the Dems out of "empathy" for the poor browns. Them not being able to abort their babies or get a lot of free money from DEI policies doesn't change a thing about that.
But it does make people think they've done something, and then stop the fight thinking they've stopped the problem.
I think any pushback against progress insanity is good, and pushes the needle
The problem is the way being fought against this has made the Needle always going to one of their directions. The tranny problem only started being fought when women were effected, and all legislation is focusing in on that aspect of it. Feminism literally is winning by gaining extra protection for girls to stop the trannies.
Sure, look at it and think, hmm, but it shouldn't be a hard and fast rule.
That's all I am asking of people. There will be times when we have to benefit them, because women exist. But we should always consider if we are making the best choice of action in the larger picture instead of simply going ahead with the easiest destruction.
