Most OF THOTs make shit for money though. A couple of years ago, the average earnings were something like $100 a month. I bet it has more to do with everyone being fat and anti-social.
It would also likely be skewed to the bottom, too. Two peaks at either extreme, even.
I bet if you checked statistics on how much muscle people gained/weight people lost from exercise, it would look pretty abysmal, if you didn't filter out all the people who only exercised for a week then gave up. So I checked, and got this:
What's the average number of videos released per month? I bet it's low. For this data to be a meaningful comparison to hooters, which actually requires people to show up or get fired, it would have to do something like divide by number of videos released or otherwise control for women who didn't actually try. I bet the return per hour worked is better for onlyfans even at the lower end.
Edit: Thinking about it further, this is all nonsense. You can't take the average number of subscribers and multiply it by the average subscription fee, because there's no guarantee they're equally distributed. Maybe the popular women charge more and the average sub is higher. Maybe the cheaper women attract more subscribers and the average sub is lower.
Agreed. I have the sneaking suspicion OF is some sort of money laundering operation. The vast majority of thots on it don't make any money. I have heard a lot of women joke about how they should go on OF to make money to chastise the men in their life, so at this point OF might also be kept alive as yet another humiliation ritual for men.
And because women want the attention. Even if one makes $10 a month, the emotional payoff of even five followers hanging on to their every word and move is worth it to them.
I was a regular viewer on a Twitch stream where the male host played Jackbox games and let some viewers talk on the stream through their Discord setup. Over the course of a year, female viewers began showing up on the stream to talk. And they. Would. Not. Shut. Up. I just don't want to hear about why their job sucks for the 458th time when I'm trying to relax and have fun.
The women on OF buy into the hype that idiots like Asmongold, intentionally or not, sell that they can become millionaires just dangling their asses in front of a camera. If anything, I suspect it's humbling and humiliating when they barely pull any money or viewers.
A search of Hooters + transsexuals did turn up a couple of hits where the trenders were either working there or were sueing over not getting hired.
They just have to be everywhere, don't they.

I heard once that some foot fetish site made its money from the conveyor belt of women paying to participate and register thinking they’ll strike it rich with no risk as opposed to actual viewers paying for subs or whatever. Does OF have an upfront cost for “creators”?

100%. 26 million on messages? No fucking way. If it was just content I'd get it, but they're suggesting that all the money comes from personal interactions.
WTF even has that time? Even if you have a full on team around you you'd have to be slinging out messages all day.
Until I get a hidden camera "behind the scenes" expose on this, I have no idea how these whores are doing it and I doubt their explanations for it.
