Well I hate to pull this card but I'm a guy and I don't understand the bond and hormones that happens from carrying a child. I imagine those are powerful instincts
I can understand if it was a child conceived from a loving relationship and carried in her womb for 9 months. That bond must be strong AF.
But this? This was an implanted abomination. Imagine trying to keep the Xenomorph after surgically removed because they found it before it burst out.
Well it wasn't concieved in love but it was carried in her womb.
