The 2024 American Family Survey indicates that liberal women aged 18-40 are significantly less satisfied with their lives compared to their conservative counterparts. Only 12% of liberal women reported being "completely satisfied" with their lives, while 37% of conservative women and 28% of moderate women felt the same way. Liberal women are also more likely to experience loneliness, with 29% feeling lonely a few times a week or more, compared to 11% of conservative women. The survey attributes these differences to varying rates of marriage and church attendance among liberal and conservative women.

Don't fall for that trap.
Their link doesn't go to the original data, but as an example, the way you fuck around with studies like these is take results like:
Completely Satisfied: 10%
Somewhat Satisfied: 30%
Neither Satisfied nor Dissatisfied: 40%
Somewhat Dissatisfied: 10%
Completely Dissatisfied: 10%
And put out headlines like "only 10% completely satisfied" and let people do what you did and assume that means 90% dissatisfaction instead of 20%.
Edit: I still can't find the per-sex, per-affiliation data, but other data in the report is broken up like
So you definitely can't just invert "completely satisfied" to get total dissatisfied.
Valid point, but one extra piece to read the data with.
1-5 scales are considered the lowest form of measurement, because nobody can ever agree on what the numbers mean as they have no objective line between them. In this case, most people would assume "completely satisfied" is equal to "my life is perfect."
I'd almost push that anyone saying 5 is mentally ill in a completely different way and is compensating hard.
