Reddit CEO confirms paid subreddits are coming this year

During a recent AMA (Ask Me Anything), Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has confirmed that the platform is getting paid subreddits this year.

Correct me if wrong but reddit is (allegedly) a private entity so only it's owners could ever be responsible for it "burning down", no? They can donate their vast IT Library of Alexandria to archive.org or Elon Musk if it's that important.
