There was another one where some White girls joined a march and were almost immediately jumped by black girls who were shouting something like "you ain't us!" White people really, really, really DID NOT want to understand that it was "open season" and they were the targets. White people really could not understand that anyone would hate them enough to want them dead. They really wouldn't acknowledge it. Blacks were marching in the streets with guns and setting fires while Whites were like, "I think we have a simple misunderstanding here, guys. Lets talk it out over a latte?"
Ethnic Nepotism is alien to most Whites. They've never seen it, never experienced it, have no idea what it's like, and in the worst cases, can't even conceptualize it as a thing.
They are, perversely, still stuck in the core fundamentals of 'race blindness' so popular in the 90s, even as they decry it as a bad thing.
Many such cases during the BLM riots. "We're on your side!" 🤣
Too bad. The joggers got a fixin' for lootin' and your shop is on the list.

To the point that, clearly in retrospect, race blindness was a weapon of propaganda targeting Whites.
