I mean, do you go around criticizing bad christians as bad christians, or just as bad people?
Frankly I can't really think of any group, barring zealous subgroups that ever call out faith like this for their own in-group. Especially when it doesn't pertain to matters of faith.

Yes.
Jews are an ethnicity. No one really thinks Woody Allen isn’t Jewish. No one really thinks Ivanka Trump is.

It’s a spectrum. Whites have been conditioned for at least 60 years to hate themselves, so half of all whites have developed an out-group bias. Jews are on the other end of that spectrum, having the very strongest in-group bias.
While I can't speak for organizations, I think half my posts here are criticizing bad members of groups I feel apart of for making us look worse or simply being an active detriment to the motivations.
I used to argue endlessly with Imp1 about feminism/MRA shit because of how poorly he was going about it and how much he would set anything back if he gained any attention. There was in fact a time, long before he got lost in the sauce, when he came to me for advice and help regarding those topics and it is why I felt so compelled to shit on him for going down the hole.
Same as attacking antisemites. I've grown to consider the Jew incompatible with society and in need of more gas, but so many who hate them are just the most annoying, unlikeable twats who cannot hold hide their massive victim complex for two sentences or understand that no politician will represent their views today and we need to slow step towards such.
Which we cannot do because they spend every moment of every day screeching like imbeciles and making sure to live up to every stereotype applied to them, meaning we can never get much popular support for the cause in this lifetime.
ah.. well you see.. people of my faith aren't trying to interfere in geopolitics or claim that our faith grants us right to land someone else is living on.
