Jesus, I'm not a defender of the 90s Democrat and his first term, but this is just utterly disingenuous, even for you.
Trump did more than most people realise while still being a disappointment in certain select areas that matter. Even now while he is currently on a roll, in the grand scheme of things, I think that will happen again this time around where select areas will either be neglected, or just be outright bad decisions. Trump isn't perfect, he isn't god, and everybody needs to remember that while he is an outsider he is still ultimately a politician, and should still be treated as such rather than as any sort of idol. But this blatant revisionism to try and vilify him because you're still butthurt that DeSantis didn't win (and as someone who initially supported him, I'm glad he didn't). The issue isn't everyone else. The issue is you.

Of course. And we'll have to see what sticks. The thing is, they're trying really hard. In Trump 1, the admin and deep state wasn't trying or actively working against Trump's good instincts.

...what? I supported Trump against DeSantis when people here were bitching about him and downvoting any pro-Trump to hell (not complaining, just pointing out what people believed).
I just pointed out that it's no wonder that people backed DeSantis, someone who actually got stuff done, as opposed to someone who didn't - at least in his first term.
