This shit is on the same tier as Veilguard for idpol retardation. It's so much worse than the leaks suggested.

Nah, I'd say it's worse. With Veilguard, the retardation is evident right away with the character creator. In KCD2, the game plays like the first one at the start, and you don't get hit with the woke shit until you're hours in, beyond the point where you can request a refund.

The tutorial alone is more than two hours, past the threshold for Steam refunds.

Probably just another coincidence. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

But jokes aside ignoring the woke bullshit KCD2 seems to be worse than KCD1 even from a gameplay perspective. All the jank from the first game is still there and some of it is even worse. Like the crime/thiefing system. The game looks more like a DLC than an actual sequel.

This is a serious worry of mine; The recent Indiana Jones game actually had what I thought to be an enjoyable start.

...right up until I saw a full review for the game and promptly tossed any notion of grabbing it into the pile.

The problem is, the intro mission is so radically different from the rest of the game(IMO), I can't help but think it was done on purpose as a bait and switch.

I suppose so. Veilguard was fully out of the closet, whereas KCD2 is deceptive and the whole bait + switch thing is a betrayal.
