The protagonist faction has the motto, "Nothing is true, everything is permitted", so of course it's woke. It's only half a step away from "do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law".
That ironically was Altair in the beginning of the game when he takes that motto at face value leading him to fuck up that mission.
Later on he understands the Creed better, I think though Ezio explains it better.
I thought there was a "so long as it harms none" clause as part of that.
Which is then of course completely dependent on the satanic's opinion on what is harmful and whether or not they're even harming you.
