If you choose despicable behavior to enrich yourself you can't exactly play the victim just because you had to pay off parts of the 'government' so you can continue doing what you do. This isn't a victim/oppressor relationship.

Willfully causing property damage is despicable, yes, especially if the damage endangers food supply. If you wanna mock me at least make sure it doesn't make you look like an idiot.
